The purpose of the MBAA to enrich the MBA program through events providing opportunities for MBA students to meet, exchange ideas, and network with other MBA students, other UNO students, professors, and business leaders. By organizing such events, the MBAA hopes to increase the value of the education and experience they receive at UNO’s MBA program. Through its activities, the MBAA increases the relevance of the program to MBA students, helps MBA students stay in and complete the program, and attracts potential students to the MBA program.
Mission of the MBAA Officers
Positions of MBAA officers are available to students with an ambition to gain the utmost from their MBA program. Officers are in charge of organizing MBAA events as well as a myriad of other tasks vital to the mission of the MBAA. They are also in charge of recruiting new members to the MBAA, and ensuring the smooth transition of the MBAA from academic year to academic year. Officers also provide a conduit for fellow students to the MBA professors and staff, as well as maintaining a network with business leaders and organizations to aid in the career progression of all MBA students. At the end of each academic year, each MBAA officer will receive permanent recognition of their contributions to the MBAA and MBA program.
