“2009 MBA End of Year Celebration”

The MBAA invites all MBA students, faculty, staff and their friends and family to a party to celebrate another year well done. The students have gone through numerous tests and late night studying; the faculty has put in long hours of lectures and paper grading; and the staff has kept the program in one piece, again! It’s now time to celebrate all the hard work everyone has done with an informal party at the Dean’s house. The Dean, Louis Pol, and his wife, Janet, have again graciously opened their home to all CBA graduate students, faculty, and staff, and would like to see everyone attend.The MBAA will provide the following:- A main course of hamburgers, bratwursts, and chips- Refreshments including soda, water, and other drinksGuests are welcome to bring a side dish or snack item, but not required!Please follow this RSVP link or contact Joe Menendez directly at soldbyjoe@cox.net to RSVP and an email will be sent to you with directions to the Dean’s house.
Congressman Terry Speaks at MBAA Business Leaders Networking Summit!

This event is an opportunity to hear Congressman Terry talk to us about the economy and then network with several local business leaders from various industries in the local area. Students can use this opportunity to talk to them about current issues like: how to prepare for a career in their field, what the future outlook of that industry is like, what are the day to day routines of their industries like, etc…

Your UNO MBAA student association is proud to present “2009 MBAA Guest Speaker Event” on February 27, 2009 and would like to invite all MBA students and UNO graduate students to attend our event. The event will be an excellent opportunity for a student to learn about a current business issues/ problem and the speakers thought on it. The event will include:
- Background of the Speaker (Bernhard Kiep, VP and GM of International Irrigation at Valmont)
- Insights into Valmont Industries, Inc and its industry
- Discussion on current business topic/ issue
- Company’s future plan on hold to tackle the current economic problems, followed up by a Q & A session.
